Nominations are now open for the 2027 Florida Trail Riders election. FTR is accepting nominations for President, Secretary, and Area Directors.
FTR runs on the members who step up. If there is someone in your area who has put in the work — or if that person is you — this is the time to get their name on the ballot. You are allowed to nominate yourself.
Before you submit a nomination, contact the person you are nominating. Make sure they understand the duties of the office and are willing to serve.
Open Positions & Requirements
President
Term: Two (2) years
Eligibility: Nominee must be a member in good standing in FTR for a minimum of 3 years.
Secretary
Term: Two (2) years
Eligibility: Nominee must be a member in good standing in FTR for the past two (2) years.
Area Director
Term: The 2027 calendar year
Eligibility: Nominee must be a member in good standing in FTR for a minimum of 2 years. You and the nominee must live in the same Area.

How to Submit
Print the form, fill it out completely, and sign it. Then send it by mail or email.
Important: All emailed nominations must be a scanned copy of the completed form with your signature. Area Director nominations must also include your FTR membership number.
